NEVER 

FORGET 

Almost 20 years already ~ and I remember very well 

where I was... what I was doing... when it all happened. 

SEEMS LIKE YESTERDAY - indeed. 

All the lives lost - the horror that this terrorist act was... 

NO - WE WILL NEVER FORGET. 

And I would be remiss if I didn't take this opportunity 

to remember another sweet soul ~ gone too soon. 

Not nearly 20 year ago - not nineteen years ago... 10 

It was the 10th anniversary of this loss 

back in MARCH... of this dreadful year of 2020.

The searing pain you feel inside when you see 

such beauty - internally as much as externally - die 

so suddenly, senselessly - such an unnecessary death... 

She was only 45. 

Ten years ago... she must have been despaired 

beyond comprehension - to do this...  

Yes, she must have been in great pain herself 

- to end it all the way she did. 

So sad. 

One day she was on top of the charts in her native France 

the next she was in the depths of despair in Italy... 

And she had to put an end to that pain. 

She saw no other way. 

She felt powerless 

but the truth was that she had the power - 

the power that her voice and her soul 

still had... and still have. 

~ rest in power ~

but I would be remiss if I didn't 

bash the clueless, ignorant French frogs 

who didn't even know her, back in 2010 

while working for the national radio: 

... some "HOMMAGE" this was... morons! 

BANDE DE CONNARDS!
